Awesome! You’ve just bought one of 4Jibaro’s finest instruments! We know you love your guitar and will strive to keep it safe and sound, but this is just a heads-up in case your precious instrument breaks. (God forbid!)

Your 4Jibaro guitar has been warranted for life, of the person or people who are the original buyers of this gorgeous guitar. We regret to inform you that we cannot offer warranty to future owners of the guitar.  The instrument has been warranted against defect of quality of materials used and against workmanship defects of the guitar. 4Jibaro will, at its sole discretion, replace the defective components with suitable replacements, in the rare cases of the above mentioned occurrence. At 4Jibaro, quality is not something that is overlooked or underplayed.

There are, however certain exclusions from the terms of warranty. They are mostly due to negligence and carelessness (something we know you’re not capable of!). 

4Jibaro does not provide warranty if

• Your guitar bears signs of damage due to exposure to severe humidity, heat or rain. 
• Your guitar shows signs of normal wear and tear on the fret board, saddle or pick guard.
• Your guitar has undergone routine maintenance on the tuning hardware, tailpiece, plating or any other hardware components and/or shows signs of normal wear and tear.
• Your case or gig bag shows signs of normal wear and tear on its body, zippers, clasps, latches and other case hardware.

We cannot offer warranty if you have, even by error, subjected the guitar to neglect and abuse either by lack of care or by accident. So if you leave your guitar in the rain, there’s nothing we can do about it!

Any damage to the surface of the wood and to other components of the guitar due to exposure to sun, moisture, fire or just plain, old sweat is not covered under the warranty.

In case there’s a flood, an earthquake or any disaster that Mother Nature comes up with and your 4Jibaro gets damaged, please bear in mind that Mother Nature has her own whims and fancies and we are in no way responsible for her misdoings!

Any customization or modification to your 4Jibaro guitar is not covered under the warranty. Any damage to the instrument as a result of customization and modification is also exempt from the warranty. If your guitar broke and somebody else did a botch-up repair job on it, we cannot help you in that case either.

Please make sure the serial number of your guitar stays visible, in case you need to send it across for repairs. Unclear or missing serial numbers on guitars will render the warranty null and void (useless, in layman terms!).

In case you need to send to across your guitar for replacement of parts or components, shipping and other resulting costs will be charged to you. Please do not send your instrument for repairs without prior authorization by 4Jibaro. We do not want to lose a perfectly good instrument (even one that may have a slight fault!).

This warranty does not include any other express or implied warranty and disclaims warranties of merchantability or fitness. This is the only warranty there is.

It’s simple enough! Our guitars are made with the utmost care and reverence. If we, by error of judgment make a mistake in our creations, we will try our best to rectify it! If your negligence results in the damage of the instrument, we’re afraid our accountability ends there!

You’ve chosen an amazing instrument from a reputed manufacturer. The chances of defects are very slim, indeed. We hope you have in your hands, your friend for life!
